CD LESSONS.... IS LIKE.... I DUNNO HOW TO DESCRIBE... CUZ THE TEACHER IS LIKE !@#$%@!#$@!!!

I am a student from secondary 2C, and this is regarding about our Character Development (CD) lessons. To me, (at least), CD lessons are a time where students can relax from all the hardwork and stress, and listen to god's words. And fortunately, all of our CD teachers were able to achieve this point, until now. Recently, we had a change of CD teachers, and this one was so, let's put it nicely, making CD lessons a meaningless, unreasonable, disciplinary lecture session. My mind of CD teachers are that they are caring, kind, fun-loving, humourous etc. Sadly, this one was none of the above, but in fact, the opposite. His name is LIANG RONG "GE GE". So much for the "GE GE”…
During his first lesson, he asked the class what shape the earth was. Being ENTHUSIASTIC TEENAGERS and HUMOUROUS KIDS, one of our friends replied "square". It's obviously wrong, but what harm can a little joke do? Yet, LIANG RONG "GE GE" gave a nasty and stern look, and asked my friend to draw it out on the board. He then called 3 of my other friends to take a photo of it, requesting them to keep it till next lesson. Then he DEMANDED the whole class to be silent. Apparently, he's shouting, much to my horror. He did not allow any conversations throughout the whole lessons, not even when we were writing our journals. One of my friends got scolded for WHISPERING. AHEM, aren't lessons meant for us to talk? especially CD lessons? And, why can't students share thoughts and feelings when we were writing our journal? Wasn't CD supposed to be interactive?
The next lesson, he came in and DEMANDED to see the photos from the 3 students. When one of the students deleted that MEANINGLESS photo, LIANG RONG "GE GE" apparently recorded down his name, saying that my friend was in his "blacklist". Then when he knew that we were visiting the old folks the next day, he immediately gave us a "lecture" and "chide" us, saying things such as, "though the old folks seemed like nothing to you, they are still human. I hope that you will respect them and not...” I wondered, was that a direct insult to us, saying that we were having such evil thoughts about the old folks? This unreasonable accusation was totally unbearable. I was like, "WHAT KIND OF A TEACHER IS HE?” Pardon me for having such thoughts, but, we're teenagers. We have feelings and emotions too. If he thinks that we look at the old folks as "just a bunch of old people", then I want to ask, what does he look at us as? Does he look at us as "small little uncivilised, undisciplined kids who need an iron fist to control"?
It was only his 2nd lesson with us, but it was already enough to drive me to the fact that I actually wrote this suggestion to you. My tone may sound acrimonious, but the whole class is already very unhappy about this. Please try to understand our feelings. It's true that we should respect teachers, but, I don't call that as respect. I call that as "demand for silence". Even if he wants SO much respect, he has to give some of his respect to us. Though he is an adult, we are all humans, aren't we?
I would be really GLAD if we can have a change of CD teachers, but to prevent other classes from being tortured, I really suggest that he should know about this problem. After all, to be a GOOD teacher, he has to do this. To gain our trust and respect, he has to sacrifice his unreasonable side of himself. I apologise if he was to have some kind of reasons that made him so disliked by our class, but even so, he should not let his emotions get in his career. We are not his toys, and we don't need such an iron fist to be handled. Teachers are our friends, not our monsters and nightmares.
I hope that our voice really matters, and I believe that you will definitely help us in a way or another =)
P.S (Our class got unhappy after the Quality School Experience Survey, so don't worry that we graded the school badly)
